Includes the following documents: letter from a clergyman complaining about the interdiction of public worship at the Archbishop Orselli's grave in Cesena; an accounting report of the Cesena hospital, dated 1730; interrogations about religious issues written by Guidone Orselli, Bishop of Cesena (in Latin); a list of the abbots of the monastery founded by S. Benedict at Subiaco (copy after Cronicon Mirtii); an extract from Il Bacchettone falso by Girolamo Gigli, an adaptation of Molière's Tartuffe (1711); three reports regarding the reconstruction project of the bridge over the river Savio on the outskirts of Cesena, one signed by Ferdinando Fuga, architect of the king of Naples, dated Sept. 13, 1765; a note from Pope Clement XIII announcing the nomination of two high ranking dignitaries of the Vatican Palace, dated July 22, 1766 (in Latin); short history of the city of Trevi (Umbria), including lists of local nobility and marriages into it, by Alfonso Valenti, dated 1765; an Italian version of the letter of King Charles III of Spain announcing the suppression of the Jesuits and the confiscation of the order's estates, dated April 2, 1767; a letter of complaint from a Roman prelate against that decree; a letter sent from Spain to Rome on June 30, 16[77?] (corner torn) describing a battle during the conquest of Holland by Louis XIV, in which the Duke Phil lip d'Orléans was taken prisoner and the French fleet was set on fire; sketch of the Danube at the Iron Gates gorge, showing the Turkish fort at Orsova (Romania) and the locations of its cannon batteries.
